Ostara in the Wheel of the Year

by Patrick McCleary | 8:05 PM in , |

If you look across the Wheel of the Year from Ostara you will find the Sabbat of Mabon. Like Mabon, Ostara is a time of thanksgiving. The difference between the two is that at Ostara we are giving thanks for the ending of the year and in anticipation of the coming bounty of the year. And at Mabon we are offering up thanks for the bounties that we have received throughout the year.
So today, the day after Ostara, take time to sit down with your family and talk about what you have to be thankful for. And for what you hope to receive and to work for throughout the upcoming year.
I will be the first to say that I am thankful for all of you, my readers. And for your continued support in the coming months. I am truly grateful for all of you. And I hope that my blog has kept up to your standards. And if there is anything that you wish that I would cover, either in greater detail, or something that I have yet to cover, please feel free to contact me at the link at the top of the page.

Blessed Be and Thank You!

    Joyous Ostara ....

I love this time of year .. the anticipation of knowing that the seeds we plant now will come to fruition in the fall .... to use this time of year to decide what we want to see bear fruit in our lives.

    Blessed be

Happy Ostara! Thanks for the comment. I totally agree that it is a great thing to be able to see the growth of our own things and the growth of all things around us in the upcoming year.
    Blessed Be!
